Is there a better place than New York during fall?
The colors of the leaves in Central Park, the smoke in the streets, the heat of the warm chocolate throught the gloves, the skyscrapers that glitter at sunset in the golden light or that disappear in the dusk mist leaving only the colorful shadow behind.
This is how New York was for me, during a very particular visit filled with smiles, friendship and a lot of shopping …
You have to be careful in New York: if you don’t pay attention she will seduce you with all of her lights and colors, and before you even notice it it’s already time to leave when the only attraction you visited was Abercrombie and Fitch..
It’s what happened to us, spending some fantastic days between Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingsdale’s, between Victoria’s Secret and Urban Outfitters, from party to party, hanging out in Central Park, wandering around Broadway in admiration and discovering every cafè in West Village.
And then it was already time to leave.
But it’s OK.
Cause now I have an excuse to go back – and I can’t wait!
New York: a huge metropolis where you can feed squirrels on the streets ..
They say New York pizzas are among the best in the World,
and that that would be because of the water of the city ..
I’m not sure it was the water, but ours was great!
well, a classical pose …
they say touching the attributes of the bull of Wall Street brings good luck …
I’m not so sure about that … 😉
Central Park at its best all covered in fall shades
in New York you can sightsee museum, nature and, well, celebrities..
Times Square it’s an incredible place!
Lighten up as it was always Christmas,
it’s one of those places you have to go and see for yourself!
The Chrysler building all wrapped up in the evening mist
St. Patrick Cathedral, e gothic church right in the heart of Manhattan,
surrounded by skyscrapers and malls. Such a delightful and unexpected contrast.
As many of my favorite destinations, my dream is to see New York in all seasons! Especially in winter time, with all the snow!
What would you advise me to see in my second visit to New York?
I wouldn’t know what to advice you because I still have to visit NYC and I have to admit that I’d really want to, perhaps you can give me some tips for when I finally make it there one day 😉

It has been such a long time since we have had real fall weather. Your pictures are amazing! We will be in New York City for Christmas and New Year 😀
Looks like you had a wonderful time in NYC, and agree, the fall is such a beautiful time to visit! I would definitely suggest catching a Broadway show next time, our theater is really something special;-)

I would love to! Though there’s a whole bunch of stuff I didn’t do when I visited, and I really feel I need to go back to thick them off my list
Xmas and New Year in NY?? I’m so jealous you guys!!! and thanks Dan! It really means a lot from such a good photographer as you
Thanks Jess!! Written down!
It is Elena! You really need to get there and see it for yourself! You’ll love it!
Pam, it’s great to see that you had such a good time in NY! For your next visit what would I suggest? Maybe seeing some other neighborhoods of Manhattan like Lower East Side, East Village, Soho and Little Italy. For a different experience head out to Brooklyn and see Williamsburg, DUMBO, Park Slope with Prospect Park (Much better than Central Park) and then head to Coney Island. You will be plenty busy…
