There’s a lake in Northern Slovenia which seems came out directly from a fairytale about castled princesses and dragons, brave knights and fairies.
It’s Lake Bled.
Ranked as one of the most beautiful lakes on the world on pages like Huffington Post, Green Global Travel, and Pacsafe, this pearl is nestled in the magnificent frame of the Julian Alps, offering astonishing views, plenty of great activities to do, and a sense of peace.
I caught it one day in its foggy charm, when it was all surrounded by a magical blue aura, and the day after when its beauty sparkled in a warm early spring afternoon.
Lake Bled has something magical.
I can’t explain how I felt walking by its shores in the magical fog, or laying on them enjoying the first rays of spring’s sun.
Or maeby I can.
I felt enchanted.
Lake Bled in a foggy day
We didn’t only walk by its shores though, Lake Bled has so much to offer that you wouldn’t believe from such a tiny place!
I’ll summon up the many and funny activities you can do at Lake Bled in the next post, I can just anticipate that my absolutely favorite is (obviously) soaking in a hot tub while enjoying the view over the Lake and the castle all lighted up at sunset!
Stay tuned!
